Girls’ Education Initiative

Girls in low-income communities face more barriers to quality education due to cultural expectations, traditional practices, as well as poverty. We are solving this problem by tackling these beliefs and connecting girls with mentoring as well as scholarship opportunities.

The Cycle

Through this initiative, we are keeping 200 girls in school by ensuring they have monthly access to sanitary pads and hygiene education to manage their menstrual cycle.

Sharing Life Mentoring Program

We also ensure that girls in low-income communities learn the socio-emotional and life skills necessary to navigate and adapt to a changing world; make decisions about their own lives, and contribute to their communities and the world.
