The Cycle
Keeping our girls in School
Every year, thousands of girls in the most marginalised communities stay out of school when they are on their monthly periods. We are solving this problem and keeping our girls in school
Here’s how we are solving the problem:
We are funding access to menstrual pads for girls in low-income schools
In 2021, we enabled consistent access to sanitary pads for 200 girls in Abeokuta, Ogun State. In 2022, we want to reach even more girls. Will you help us achieve this?
2. We are demystifying menstruation in rural communities
We are holding gatherings and town halls in low-income communities that inform mothers and fathers of the importance of menstrual hygiene in the lives and futures of their daughters.
